A few Sundays ago, we ventured to the quaint and historic City of Annapolis and met Ashleigh and Jeff for their sunrise engagement session. Usually, a sunrise session doesn’t happen often, but Mr. Groom-to-Be did not want to miss the 1pm Redskins game! So, with a 6:30 a.m. meeting time, and a windy and brisk morning, we got it done!

Before they arrived, we said to ourselves, “they must think we are crazy meeting this early!” It was truly freezing, but you could totally feel the warmth Ashleigh and Jeff shared with one another, and although this was their first formal photoshoot, they hit it out of the park!

Wrapped in their puffy jackets they somehow were still able to get as close as possible to one another and share some cute moments walking around the City. We walked all along City dock, shared some sights on some side streets, and made it a point to go to the iconic Statehouse. The City was beautifully decorated for Christmas, as every little shop on Main Street and beyond was decked out in garland and lights. It totally added some Christmas cheer into Ashleigh and Jeff’s photos!

Next time we see Ashleigh and Jeff it will be summertime! But for now, enjoy their beautiful winter engagement session…
