This beautiful day was a long time in the making! The pandemic made Chrissie and Taylor wait longer than they had hoped to be able to celebrate with friends and family, however I think they would agree that the wait was TOTALLY worth it!

Chrissie and Taylor officially got married at The Citron in 2021, and being able to say “I do” for a second time (again at The Citron!) with their closest loved ones was SO much fun to capture. The Citron holds a special place in their hearts, as the family is very close with the owner who elevated their wedding experience. 

Even though the weather was rainy and windy, the day couldn’t have been more perfect and it certainly did not stop these two from throwing the most amazing party!  They were both so positive about the situation, and the gloomy day did not take away from the love between them that we were able to capture so beautifully! We even got to step outside for a brief moment after the ceremony to get some newlywed umbrella shots, which was so fun!

We love experiencing memorable moments and laughing with our L&L couples.  It is what makes the day so fun!  One slightly terrifying, but laughable moment happened when Taylor accidentally split his pants in the back while getting ready!  Thankfully, his mom being a surgeon, was able to successfully operate and totally save the day with making them good as new in time to walk down the aisle.  Everyone chuckled and agreed that it would be something they would look back on and laugh about for years to come! News traveled so fast, and even made it into the best man speech!

It was such an amazing day watching Chrissie and Taylor be surrounded by their family and (so many) amazing friends from all chapters of their lives!

Chrissie and Taylor are undoubtedly so in love and we were honored to have been able to capture all of their special moments together! We wish you both a lifetime of happiness and a rainy day every now and then 😉
